The Darkness, Artificial Light, In The Valley of Shadows

Normally, we do not so much look at things as overlook them....

Ok, so that is the perfect Zen Quote to describe the status of The Darkness. For the better half of last month rereading and making what I thought would be the final changes and edits to The Darkness.

I was told that the word doc would be uploaded into PDF form, and that would take no longer a few days for this to happen. Once the PDF was done, I would review it and sign off on it, then we would sent it out to reviewers and we would move straight into the layout phase.

So I get the PDF file today a about a week later than the "due date" and right away (on pg 2) I notice that none of the changes that I made and signed off on where on the PDF. Which means I can not sign off on the PDF, I can not send it to the print shop and I can not send it out ARC's.

Its kinda bewildering that Necropolis Studio Productions are further along with the audio book than we hard with the paper & Kindle book version.

Are you fucking kidding me? I'm in Hell =/

  1. That sucks about the print version hitting the snag, Crystal. The book sounds amazing! The trailer was awesome and what can I say about the cover except: WOW! I don't get the chance to buy a lot of books; economy, one income household with 3 kids and whatnot. But I may have to save up for this one! Good luck with it, and I'll be checking for a release date!

  2. Hi Matt,

Thank you so much for following me and the kick ass things you've said about the trailer for The Darkness and the amazing art work by Yvette Montoya =D

I hear ya about the economy and I plan on making sure The Darkness is affordable under $10.00 in the US and not much more for our cousins in the UK.

The audiodrama will be produced by Necropolis Studio Productions will be free to download from their site, my site, itunes and Podiobooks and where ever else we can post it too.

And if you want to interview me for one of your many blogs & write a review the unbond ARC is free and you'll get a paperback signed by me as a thanks (wink wink)

    Thanks again for stopping by!
